Esta serie evidencia la cercana relación de la productora de este fondo y la Central de Trabajadores Argentinos (CTA). Esto está representado en la participación de Nora Cortiñas en diferentes actividades organizadas por la CTA, principalmente en lo referente a conmemoraciones y aniversarios relativos a desaparecidos y a los derechos humanos. Entre ellos, se encuentra el homenaje realizado a Gustavo Cortiñas en el año 2008. Nora Cortiñas ha adherido también a diferentes solicitadas e iniciativas impulsadas por la central, como constatan los materiales de esta serie. Sin embargo, también ha reunido documentos producidos por la CTA referidos exclusivamente a luchas gremiales y conflictos sindicales, como reflejo de su interés por la actividad de esta institución.
