Los documentos correspondientes a esta Serie dan cuenta de la participación de Córdova Iturburu en el “II Congreso Latinoamericano de Escritores”, que tomó lugar del 15 al 24 de marzo de 1967 en Ciudad de México y en cuyo marco se editó El despertador Americano. Boletín Informativo del II Congreso Latinoamericano de Escritores, cuyos responsables fueron José Revueltas y Marco Antonio Millán. En el ejemplar del mencionado Boletín que se encuentra en la presente Serie, Córdova Iturburu hizo abundantes anotaciones manuscritas a la nota que reproduce el Proyecto presentado por el Delegado de la República de Chile Armando Uribe y por el representante guatemalteco Mario Montefonte Toledo.
