Se excusa de escribirle en francés. Comparte que hace aproximadamente un mes recibió una carta del Comité del Congreso de Santiago de Chile inivitándolo al mismo y comunicándole que todos los gastos de traslado y alojamiento estaban cubiertos. Señala que aceptó la invitación y que habría debido tomar el avión el día anterior, el 5 de julio. Como nunca recibió la confirmación, no viajó. Comparte asimismo que hace 48 horas recibió un telegrama desde Santiago notificándole que la organización no podía cubrir su pasaja. Se congratula por lo mismo de no haber viajado ni de haber aceptado una segunda invitación ursada al parecer por Agosti. Pide que planifiquen un viaje nuevamente para una fecha ulterior.
