Escrito sobre la revolución estética iniciada por el grupo nucleado en torno a la revista Martín Fierro en el año 1924, que según Córdova Iturburu tendría dos vertientes: la "cubo-futurista" (Emilio Pettoruti) y la "no abstractizante, que se apoya en la realidad visible, pero la transfigura en una nueva realidad" (Lino Enea Spilimbergo). Al segundo se dedica el grueso del presente escrito.
